Meet Dr. Ava Williams

DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC

Dr. Ava Williams is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of experience providing dedicated nursing care. She earned both her Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees from George Washington University.

Dr. Williams is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to adults aged 18 and older. She is committed to fostering a healthcare environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment decisions. Dr. Williams takes the time to get to know each patient, listen to their concerns, and collaborate on developing personalized care plans.

Dr. Williams’s commitment to improving patient outcomes is demonstrated through her focused research. Her doctoral studies focused on reducing hospital admission through patient centered care and shared decision making. Her postdoctoral studies centered on polypharmacy in older adults, and her current research explores strategies for deprescribing medications to reduce polypharmacy and enhance the well-being of this population.
